Our taxi service is 24 hrs 7 days a week. We have day and night shifts available.
Day shifts are: 5am to 4pm, 7am to 4pm or 8am to 5pm.
Night shifts begin at 4pm or 5pm and run through after the night clubs close, generally 5 am at the latest.
Our drivers operate under a “Bailee Agreement” (which is standard in the NSW Taxi industry). The plain English version of this agreement is that the driver retains 40% of the shift takings and the company receives 60%, to cover fuel, vehicle cleaning and maintenance, and insurances.
To drive a Taxi in NSW you will need to apply for a Taxi Drivers Authority from the Ministry of Transport NSW (minimum cost $100). Go to the following web site to download the necessary application forms.. http://www.transport.nsw.gov.au/taxi/driver-authority.html
You will need to hold a current NSW drivers licence (P plate is not accepted), & have held an Australian Licence for a minimum of 12 months.
Once your Driver Authority has been returned to you, we have a one day training program to prepare you for work as a Taxi driver (minimum cost $50). Please note there are also some small costs involved in purchasing uniforms.
